Mayor of Wivenhoe's Gala Dinner

I am delighted to invite you to join us on Saturday 10 May for a special evening at Wivenhoe House Hotel to raise funds towards my Mayoral appeal for 'chatty' benches and tables in our splendid King George V park.

The evening will include:

• A  delicious three-course dinner and a glass of bubbly on arrival at Park Brasserie
• A fundraising auction, pledges, raffle and games
• Networking opportunities with Wivenhoe friends and colleagues

The evening will be the final event in my Mayoral year and a chance to thank everyone for their support. It's been a tree-mendous year with significant events marking the 80th anniversary of D Day and VE Day; the opening of new skateboard facilities in the King George V park, the development of much-needed new homes across our town alongside the continued promotion and enjoyment of our natural environment.

Together we will continue to make Wivenhoe 'the best place to live in the east of England'.
